HOOKING SO I STILL DO NOT KNOW MY BEST ET YET..... THE NEW TORQUE CONVERTER SEEMED TO MAKE A BIG DIFFERANCE.

FIRST RUN RIGHT OFF THE TRAILER....11.901 @ 113.73. NOT BAD FOR OFF THE TRAILER AND THE FOR
FIRST TIME ON THE SLICKS. SECOND RUN WAS EXACTLY THE SAME, THEN SOMEONE OILED DOWN THE TRACK REAL BAD AND THEY CLOSED THE
TRACK FOR THE DAY....OH WELL WAITING FOR NEXT TIME.
WILL BE ADDING NEW HEADERS AND EXHAUST OVER THE WINTER HOOKER
SUPER COMPS (1 7/8") AND A 3.5" TORQUE TECH EXHAUST.

WENT TO ATCO RACEWAY IN NJ. (THE PIC ON THE HOME PAGE). THE CAR HOOKED BETTER THAN IT EVER DID RESULTING IN PULLING
THE FRONT TIRES OFF THE GROUND. THE PICTURES WAS TAKEN 20' INTO THE RUN. MANY OF THE SPECTATERS TOLD ME THE CAR WAS 2'
IN THE AIR AT THE LAUNCH. WISH I HAD THAT PICTURE. ANYWAY THE HEADERS SEEMED TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
WINTER 2002-SPRING 2003
SENT CARB OUT TO BE WORKED.....GOT IT BACK.....WENT TO TRACK, HAD A BAD DAY, FUEL PUMP FLAKED OUT....STILL RAN 12.0 ON
3lbs OF FUEL PRESSURE......WAITING FOR NEW PUMP. EVERYONE SAID THEY WERE OFF 2-3 TENTHS...HMMMMM THERE IS MY 11.80'S BUT HAD
NO FUEL PRESSURE, THE CAR JUST HAD NO PULL.....SO HOPEFULLY WHEN I GET THE NEW PUMP AND GET BACK TO THE TRACK I WILL SEE 11.6'S.......

WELL 3.5 " EXHAUST IN AND I SLOWED DOWN......LOST THE BOTTOM END, ORDERED NEW EXHAUST FROM TORQUE TECH 3". WILL
BE INSTALLED SHORTLY THEN TO THE TRACK FOR MORE TESTING.

OK BACK TO 3" EXHAUST.... FUEL PROBLEM IS FIXED..... THE CAR SEEMS TO BE BACK TO NORMAL RAN 3 RUNS ALL WERE 11:78'S......
SUMMER 2005
DID NOT RACE MUCH BUT I AM WORKING ON GETTING RID OF MORE WEIGHT... CHANGED THE STOCK SEATS TO RACING SEATS FOUND A FEW
THINGS TO GET RID OF SOME WEIGHT CAR NOW WEIGHTS 2995 LBS PUT NEW SLICKS ON THE CAR USING PHONEX BRAND SLICKS, THEY
ARE HOOKING BETTER THEN THE GOOD YEARS. MADE THE COWL FUNCTIONAL TO GET SOME KEWL AIR INTO THE CARB. THE WEATHER
WAS NOT TO GOOD SO DID NOT GET MUCH TESTING AND TUNEING IN.
APRIL 2006
WENT TO ISLAND DRAGWAY IN NJ. HAD A GREAT TIME!!!! SHUT DOWN AREA IS A BIT SHORT BUT NO PROBLEMS. THE CAR IS BACK AND
RUNNING BETTER THAT EVER. NEW BEST TIME 11:54 @ 116.8 mph AND THE 60 FOOT TIMES ARE NOW 1.61 SO ALL THE
THINGS I DID MADE MAJOR IMPROVEMENTS. HOPE TO GET A FEW MORE RUNS ON THE CAR THIS SPRING.

WENT TO ATCO RACEWAY CAR IS RUNNING GREAT! ALL RUNS IN THE LOW 11.60'S
IN OCTOBER OF 2005 AT ATCO RACEWAY I HAD A 10.96 SEC RUN. HAVE NO IDEA HOW I RAN THAT NUMBER. HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE
TO DUPLICATE IT. BUT THERE IS A VIDEO OF IT ON THIS SITE UNDER SPECIAL PHOTOS.
